Our Top Ten Reasons for Dating One Another
Top ten reasons to date me: 10. I’m not wardrobe-challenged (I’ve watched enough episodes of Queer Eye to get a clue, and to make Carson teen relationships Tivoli NY proud). 9. I wash and iron my own clothes, and know how to use a hamper (yes, I’m pretty domesticated). 8. I have my own KitchenAid stand mixer (my kitchen is pretty well equipped...and, yes, I know how to use everything). 7. You won’t have to worry about becoming a sports widow (I like to watch NFL games (GO CHARGERS!), as well as the occasional baseball game at the stadium, but you won’t find me setting the TiVo to record SportsCenter). 6. (I'm still deciding what I want to write here). 5. You can wear your tallest heels with me (I’m pretty handy when it comes to reaching the top shelf and changing light bulbs). 4. I’m a one-woman man (I can be quite romantic and affectionate, and love to kiss, but only with a woman I feel something for – see #5 for tip on how to get into kissing range). 3. I’m not perfect (but you’ll always get my best). 2. I’m loveable AND likeable (there is a difference!). And, the number one reason to date me...I actually want to hear what you have to say (I’d rather be with a woman who can stimulate all my organs, not just one). Top ten reasons for me to date you: 10. What you say, and how you say it, makes me want to hear even more (see #1 above – stimulating organs). 9. Your kisses are incredible and speak volumes about your feelings (and make me want to kiss you often and endlessly). 8. You’re ok with the fact that I’m not a dancer (although I’m always up for a slow dance in the kitchen, bedroom, on the dance floor...wherever). 7. You share in the belief that the relationship comes above all else (when our devotion is to one another and our happiness as a couple, all other facets of our lives benefit – , family, friends, career, etc.). 6. You like that I want to hold your hand and open doors for you (chivalry is alive and well here). 5. You understand my desire to have a big screen TV and big speakers (I know, I know...boys and their toys - hey, it makes for more cuddle time on the couch). 4. You’re more of a homebody than a party animal (I like to go out too, but don’t feel as if I’m missing something if I’m not going out every night). 3. You realize that a little alone-time is important, but there is such a thing as being too independent (we prefer to do things as a couple, yet can still maintain our individual identities - we should never feel as if we’re the person the other happens to be in a relationship with). 2. You take an active role in your own happiness and fulfillment (we each need to take care of you, me and us – happiness is a choice). And, the number one reason for me to date you...you have best friend potential (we’re both hoping to find that one person we can’t live without). For fun I like to do most things - concerts, movies, dining out, travel, shoot pool, beach, bbq, Disneyland, bowling, ball games, etc. I also have a couch and a TV...nothing beats a quiet evening sitting close and watching our favorite shows or a DVD. My favorite things include kissing, holding hands, kissing, walking arm-in-arm, kissing, long hugs, kissing, getting lost in your eyes, kissing, your smile, kissing, your touch, kissing, your laugh, kissing, running my fingers through your hair...oh, and kissing. Please - just be normal, happy, healthy, sane and very affectionate. A good woman in search of a good man. Genuinely sweet and hoping to find that amazing love that will last a lifetime. I'm ready for my last first date, my last first kiss...are you?
